Police lead the media to the house where a drug lab was found.
The South African Police Service [SAPS] praised the Orlando community for the cooperation which ultimately led to the discovery of what police say is a drug lab.
Police General John Sitole said, “It is exciting that they managed to discover the drug lab through the assistance of the community.
He said his team is working tirelessly and some SAPS members haven’t slept since the discovery yesterday. Police are still present and are investigating the scene for more evidence.
Police didn’t estimate the street value of the drugs and have not made any arrests. Sitole said they are calling for anyone with information to come forward.
“We believe that many individuals are involved,” he said.
