URGENT NOTICE: Planned power outages for Naledi residents

Naledi split metering installation
Parts of Naledi, Soweto will be without electricity supply from February 5 to 8. These are planned electricity outages as Eskom will be upgrading and maintaining the network through the implementation of the split metering technology.
Kindly note the following:
- On February 5, the area will be without supply from 9 am to 11 pm,
- On February 6, from 7.30 am to 11.00 pm,
- On February 7, supply will be off from 7.45 am to 11.00 pm,
- The final planned outage will be on February 8, will effect from 8.30 am to 11.30 pm.
In the interest of safety, all electrical appliances should be treated as live at all times during the outage period.
Eskom would like to thank all its customers for their cooperation and we apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused by these planned outages.
The planned electricity outages may not proceed as communicated should circumstances beyond Eskom’s control arise.
