A man was brutally beaten by a mob in Bramfischerville after allegedly breaking into a house.
The incident occurred at about 7am after the homeowner left his house around 6:30am. The man was escorting his wife to work. Before living the house, he locked the door and burglar door.
When he returned home, he found that the door was forced open. He rushed to call a friend and they then began searching the yard and inside the house. Only to find that the alleged thief was relaxing in the bedroom by the owner who called on other residents.
The thief was dragged out to the street and people from the neighborhood called the police. He was beaten by a mob and stripped off his clothes.Â
He was identified as one of the people living in the area. Nothing was stolen since the household owner came back just in time to his home.
