Two found guilty of house break-in
Police thank residents for assistance in securing conviction.
Two men aged 24 and 32 were sentenced to five years imprisonment by the Lenasia Magistrate Court last week.
They were found guilty of house break-in and theft. The pair from Mapetla broke in to a house in Pimville Zone 5 in June where they stole a DVD, a plasma screen and other items.
With the help of residents the two were apprehended and the stolen goods recovered.
Kliptown police would like to thank the community of Pimville for their assistance in securing the conviction.
