Angry parents were addressed by the MEC for education, Panyaza Lesufi at Noordgesig Primary.

Learning has been disrupted at Noorgesig Primary School this morning with parents protesting outside.

This comes after reports that one of the boys who was circumcised last month has passed away.

The school organised a circumcision trip for boys which didn’t go well last month and parents are now calling for the principal to be sacked following this morning’s reports that one of the boys has died.

Police are on the scene and a meeting between the school SGB, district and the school staff is ongoing while parents are protesting outside the school gates.
