Detectives honoured for the swift arrest of suspect linked to Soweto mom

Hard work pays-off for hard working detectives.

Dobsonville SAPS Detective Tracing Unit has received awards from Gauteng Provincial Commissioner for being the best detective group of the year.

The six detectives recently traced down and arrested a suspect sought for murder and hijack of Charlotte Madibuseng at Bramfischer Phase Four.

Madibuseng was with her seven-year-old-son and was picking up her 12-year-old daughter from school on April 20 when the incident happened.

The suspect was arrested on Tuesday at Emndeni, Soweto.

He appeared at the Protea Magistrate Court today.

The detectives are;

– Warrant officer David Maluleke.

– Warrant Jack Daniels.

– Warrant Roderick Hlungwane.

– Captain Sithembiso Ndwandwe.

– Sergeant Sifiso Khoza.

– Warrant Sipho Mdletshe.

Dobsonville communications officer constable Mzwakhe Xazi said: “The station commissioner Brigadier Azwindini Nengovhela is honoured to have police officers of such a caliber.

As he was handing over the tokens of appreciation, Dobsonville detective branch commander colonel Eric Nkosi said: “These officers traced and arrested the suspects for the George Khoza Secondary School Satanic ritual case, and many others.”
