Bramfischer to get a new primary school

Councillor says big plans are in the pipeline for Ward 49.

The councillor of Ward 49, Mandla Mlangeni has confirmed that the construction of a primary school in Bramfischer Phase Three is underway.

A contractor and a Community Liaison Officer (CLO) have been appointed to commence with the development.

According to Mlangeni, the project is projected to take at least eight months to complete.

“Bramfischer Phase Three did not have a school before and this will be the beginning of greater things to come in this area.

He said children travel far just to get to a school – of which some parents cannot afford money for transport or are unemployed.

“I am absolutely happy that children will get a break once the school is finished. This is also a positive project since locals will get hired,” said Mlangeni.
