To mark World Health Day, Shoprite Supermarket group visited various informal outdoor gyms which enables the community to participate in aerobics and other fun exercises.
Shoprite Protea Glen paid Siqwane Zadlonge Health Park Gym in Protea Glen Extension 11 a visit and surprised them with gym materials such as golf towels, water bottles, t-shirts and caps.
Ogopoleng Maramela, social worker at COPESSA thanks Shoprite for their contribution to the gym.
“This is one of the ways we aim to prevent child abuse through health park and also by creating safe and caring communities.
“We thank you Shoprite for giving back to the community,” said Maramela.
