Watch SABC editor get mugged on camera
Brazen thugs rob SABC editor Vuyo Mvoko during a live interview.
SABC contributing editor, Vuyo Mvoko, was mugged yesterday evening outside Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg while the news cameras were running.
The incident took place while Mvoko was preparing to do a live interview outside of the hospital.
The crew were able to capture the two muggers as they appear clearly on camera.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said nobody was injured during the incident.
“The crew were not harmed although they are still in shock as they were robbed of personal belongings which included cell phones and a laptop.
“The matter has been reported to the police who were called to the scene,” he said.
