Last Saturday, Portia Sotia (22) was stabbed to death by a man in the early hours of the morning.
“It is alleged that Portia and her boyfriend were drinking with friends at Embizweni( a tavern) in Diepkloof Zone Five, when she was attacked by a man who took out a knife and stabbed her multiple times on the upper body,” said Constable Sibusiso Chauke.
Chauke said,” The man fled the scene and Portia was rushed to hospital where she died on arrival.
“The man was found at his home in Zone One and was arrested.”
The man is expected to appear at the Protea Magistrates court soon.
