The City of Joburg is inviting residents to a public meeting which will be held at Orlando Communal Hall in Orlando East on January 31 where it will review its Rates Policy .
The City reviews its Rates Policy on an annual basis with the purpose to determine categories of properties, which will then be rated according to a tariff.
“Ratepayers and interested parties are invited and are encouraged to get involved in the drafting of the 2015/2016 Rates Policy. Your suggestions and recommendations are important to us as we are to consult with you with regards to the drafting of the Rates Policy before implementation,” said Nkosana Lekotjolo Media and PR.
