Councillor Prince Mogoshane, assigned to Meadowlands’ wards 41 and 42 in Johannesburg has been suspended by the Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng.
John Moodey of the DA Gauteng Provincial Leader said Mogoshane is suspended from all political activities, pending an investigation into misconduct and an incapacity hearing for poor performance.
The political party has referred the suspended councillor to the Federal Executive Chairperson to set up a case of an incapacity hearing.
Moodey explained that when public representatives fail to meet the party’s high expectations, with all the necessary support given in terms of development, the party is not afraid on taking the necessary corrective action.
