SGB and school principal thank shopping centre

School happy with the support they get from parents.

Mosotho Ntlele of the school governing body at Makhoarane Primary School said the SGB committee is very excited about winning the school competition run by the Dobsonville Shopping Centre recently.

Ntlele said that this was the third time that something of such kind gets awarded to the school.

She thanked parents, teachers and pupils for working as a unit in ensuring that the service at the school is a wonderful one.

“We are receiving enormous support from the parents and we look forward to sustaining that understanding.

She said the SGB committee suggested that a fence be installed for safety reasons.

Ntlele said all the parents (customers) who spent over R150 in shops to vote knew what they were doing and that the results at the end also proved it.

Principal Pexie Jafta said credit should go to the parents who bought and submitted the slips.

“Parents continue to play their role in working together with schools,” she said.

Jafta thanked the school governing body for motivating pupils in the assembly daily reminding them that they were born champions.
