ANC wishes matriculants luck

ANC Ward 44 coordinator Bongani Ngubeni hands over ‘good luck cards’ to matriculants at Siyabonga Secondary School, Bramfischerville.

The African National Congress’s voting district coordinator in Ward 44 Bongani Ngubeni handed over ‘good luck cards’ to matriculants at Siyabonga Secondary School, Bramfischerville.

Ngubeni said the cards contain messages of support that encourage pupils to devote themselves to education.

He said education is an important tool to improving the poor backgrounds of anyone who dreams to achieve that.

“The ANC in this ward cares about the future of the youth and I believe that one thing that can ensure a greater tomorrow today to them is education.

The school’s matric class at the school accommodates 77 pupils who are currently writing their exams.

Grade 12 pupils started with their final examination on October 28.

Other schools that received the cards in the ward include Kgatelopele Secondary (Bramfischer) and Forte High School (Dobsonville).

“We urge pupils to register to vote for next year’s elections because their vote is the critical weapon that defines their future,” said Ngubeni.
