Assualt and murder cases on the rise in Orlando
Orlando Police Station Commissioner Brigadier Welcome Zangwa admitted that there are some black sheep within Orlando Police Station.
Orlando East Police station commissioner brigadier Welcome Zangwa said that assault and murder cases have increased.
He said that these are social crimes and the perpetrators are commonly known within the community.
“Most of these crimes happen when people are drinking, residents must drink and have fun without been violent,” he said.
Zangwa also said that Oralando police are doing their best even though they are a few who the black sheep within the police.
He also spoke about the police response time he said the police do respond as fast as they can.
“Each sector has two police vehicles allocated to them unfortunately there are times that only one is available for each sector due to cars going to the garage for repairs,” said Zangwa.
He said that this does at times affect response time.
Zangwa also said that residents must work with the police in the fight against crime. “Residents must work with the police and report crimes,” he said.
