The People’s Race is just around the corner and as a result, the exhibition is hot property for brands wanting to be part of one of the biggest races of the year.

The People’s Race is just around the corner and as a result, the exhibition is hot property for brands wanting to be part of one of the biggest races of the year.

Held every year, the exhibition will officially declare the 28th edition of the African Bank Soweto Marathon open on Thursday November 2.

For both Thursday and Friday the expo will remain open until 19h00, catering for those who can only visit after work while on Saturday it will open at 08h30 and close at 18h00.

Last year’s biggest one day race, has now confirmed a jam-packed Soccer City exhibition hall, offering fantastic opportunities for runners and related companies to showcase their products and services to a large and diverse audience.

“Whether you are an established company or a new player in the market, participating in this expo can be a great way to inform potential clients about your products and services.

The expo features a wide range of exhibits, including footwear, apparel, supplements, nutritional products, and the latest advancements in running technology,” said Soweto Marathon Trust spokesperson, Thokozani Mazibuko.

“We therefore encourage runners to tap into the hype and excitement surrounding the event leading up to race day and for exhibitors to enjoy the unique opportunity to engage with a passionate community of runners.”

The expo is a one stop shop for runners to get everything they need for the race after collecting their race packs. It is also a perfect environment for runners to connect and share tips ahead of the big day on Sunday.
