Enjoy this Heritage Day at Melville Koppies

Many people who travel to the Melville Koppies are dismayed to learn that the hike is only 5km long.

Visitors now have a chance to join a guided 8km hike on September 24.

The hike will proceed through the Melville Koppies nature reserve and heritage site before entering Melville Koppies East and returning to the nature reserve.

Reservations are not necessary.

Interested residents can arrive at 08:15 and the guided hike will start at 08:30.

Entry costs R90 per person and R50 for children under 18.
