The self-taught singer uses his gospel songs together with his upbeat attitude to bring forward positive energy and motivation to those facing difficult times in their lives.

Budeli who was born and bred in Thohoyandou started his music career back in 2004 by promoting Limpopo’s well known artists including, Minister Lufuno Dagada and Jay Mbiza, as well as selling their cassettes and CDs in town.

“During this time, I was still learning to find my feet in the industry and to learn how it works.

“In 2005, I started my career as a gospel artist and I can say that it was the best decision I have made thus far since I am able to bring comfort to those going through difficult times through music,” Budeli said.

With this being the start of his music career, Budeli joined a group called Brother In Love from his home town and started working with the Late Mpho Regallo as a way of gaining more experience and exposure in the industry.

He later moved to Johannesburg where he managed to release his first album in 2006. Although it did not sell, he managed to gain recognition from various radio stations including Phalaphala FM.

Budeli pleads with residents to help take his music career to the next level, by booking him to perform at their events,

“Worship is my life and I have become the person that I am today through praising God and speaking to him through music.

“With the hard times that we are facing today, especially as young people, the solution is turning back to God and giving him our troubles and for me, music helps me get through these difficult times because it chose me.”
