Emshukantambo Secondary School hosted their first quarter awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 10 in Pimville.

Deputy Principal, Pule Hlahane explained that, “The purpose of the awards scheduled for every term is to allow learners to unleash their potential.

Grade 8 learners who received their first quarter awards

“We are proud to see the healthy competition among our learners throughout all the grades. We are very pleased to also see the boy learners raising the flag of Emshukantambo higher and higher.”

The awards are to also continue building on the foundation already laid by educators at the primary schools, in particular for the Grade 8 learners not to drop the ball but to continue excelling in their studies.

Grade 11 learners who received their first quarter awards

The school expressed great appreciation to all their sponsors who made the awards ceremony possible, Boston City Campus as well as the school governing body.

“We hope to have bigger and better award ceremonies for the remaining three terms of the year 2023,” Hlahane concluded.
