Eldos man busted for drugs

The arrest was made when members of the flying Squad were conducting their patrol duties in Mapelaberg Extension 2 Eldorado Park.

The SAPS Flying Squad members on February 2 arrested a 47 year old male for possessing more than 70 mandrax tablet drugs.

The arrest was made when members of the flying Squad were conducting their patrol duties in Mapelaberg Extension 2 Eldorado Park.

“Whilst patrolling, the members received a tip-off regarding ongoing drug dealings at a specific house situated in Mapelaberg,” explained police spokesperson, Sergeant Roxanne Gibb.

“The drugs were thereafter discovered by the SAPS members upon conducting their search and the suspect was arrested and is due to appear in court.”

“This success would not have been possible had it not being for the collaboration of the SAPS and a very concerned resident.

This therefore proves that team work makes the dream work,” said the Eldorado Park SAPS Station Commander Brigadier Maluleke.
