Emshukantambo Secondary School passes with 82%

Hard work and true determination do not betray and top three learners from this school are a proof of that.

Last Friday 20 January, lunch was served at Emshukantambo Seconday School, Pimville, to celebrate and acknowledge the biggest mile stone of their matric class of 2022.

Hard work and true determination do not betray and top three learners from this school are a proof of that.

Dingaan Manjate with five distinctions, Tshabile Moloi with four distinctions and Teves Msiza with two distinctions made the school and the community proud.

According to Msiza, being the first one in his family to pass matric meant that he has actually built a bridge for his family to reach greater heights. For some learners triumph is not only for them but for their family’s name.

“Passing matric has made me feel like I have made my mother proud and I am the first in my family to pass matric. I feel like this time there’s someone who is able to take them where they couldn’t,” said Msiza.

“They have supported me to get to where they were not able to reach and I am grateful,” he added.

Passing matric is one of the most important milestones for every learner, the first step on the road to their dream careers. Emshukantambo Secondary School came out second in Pimville with 82% matric results for the class of 2022, with 56 bachelor’s passes.

Dingaan Manjate the top learner with 99% in Physical Science and 91% in Mathematics advices the class of the 2023 to not apply too much pressure on themselves and in order to be productive and effective, they should not study under fatigue and exhaustion.

A school that produces good results consists of educators that are committed and determined in bettering the academic and emotional state of their learners.

“We would love to thank all our teachers for always being with us since the beginning of the year.

“Especially our Physics teacher who was there for use even at 2am midnight to help us with questions we struggled with. We are grateful to all educators,” they concluded.
