The significant Grade 2 Allied Steelrode On A Mission Charity Mile, which will be run over 1 600m, will support 16 Johannesburg charities this year in addition to seeing Allied Steelrode raise stakes once more.
With the Allied Steelrode sponsorship, stakes for this historic event will be set at R800 000. Allied Steelrode will contribute R250 000 to the stakes in addition to 4Racing’s R550 000.
Group CEO of Allied Steelrode, Arun Chadha, said that the idea of charity struck a chord with Allied Steelrode On A Mission and while they expect a fun day of racing on the day, they especially enjoy the chance to support the deserving organisations in the communities.
“This event gives us the fantastic opportunity to both support our industry and even more importantly to contribute to incredible Johannesburg charities who need and value the support.
