28 arrested for various offences by law enforcement in Eldorado Park

The suspects have appeared before the respective courts and are said to continue to appear throughout the course of the week.

The Eldorado Park SAPS supplemented by various external law enforcement deployments, have arrested 28 suspects since September 13.

According to Sergeant Roxanne Gibb, the arrests are a result of the unannounced operations conducted by various law enforcement agencies within the Greater Eldorado Park area.

“The alleged offences committed range from possession of dagga, possession of dangerous weapon, assault common, malicious damage to property, pointing of firearm, rape, domestic violence, possession of drugs, theft, possession of stolen property, contravening a protection order, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition, possession of unlicensed live ammunition, possession of stolen motor vehicle and child neglect,” said Gibb.

The suspects have appeared before the respective courts and are said to continue to appear throughout the course of the week.
