Gauteng swimmers excel at senior winter championships

Swimmers from Edenvale Stingrays took to the pool when they competed in the Eastern Gauteng Aquatics Senior Winter Championships.

Held at St Andrews School, the swimmers aged 14 years old and older took to the water on the weekend of August 27 and 28.
Edenvale Stingrays’ Kate Jones said the four swimmers who represented the club beat their personal best times, qualified for final races and retuned home with several medals.
“They fought until the very end and I’m so impressed with their grit and determination,” said Jones.
