Goodbye and thanks for the memories
SUN journalist Yoshini Perumal pens a heartfelt farewell message to the community.
SAYING goodbye is never easy. I am overwhelmed by various emotions as I say farewell to being a community journalist for the south Durban area and move on to a greater challenge in my career.

Working at The SUN and meeting the most interesting and amazing people in its footprint area will be cherished memories I will hold onto forever.
I thank those who open-heartedly welcomed me into their homes and organisations, allowing me to tell their stories and be a part of their trials and triumphs over the last two years.
I am grateful for the bonds I formed and am blessed to have been able to leave pieces of me with so many people during my time at The SUN. It’s just goodbye until we meet again!
