A memorable gift for dad – how about an aftermarket accessory?

For this year’s Father’s Day, we are getting a little creative with the gifts. Here are some great aftermarket accessory options for dad’s favourite vehicle.

Father’s Day gifts need not present a headache.

Discover his interests and make a perfect choice. If he is passionate about his car, aftermarket accessories that will enhance its appearance make for a great gift.

Research indicates that the aftermarket accessory market is growing rapidly and offers you many interesting functional and decorative products at reasonable prices.

Leading manufacturers like Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford and others have a list of pre-approved accessories that can be fitted to their vehicles. It is highly likely that dad will find something he approves of for his car, such as a tow bar, alloy wheels or a canopy. Smash-and-grab film on the windows looks great while also providing protection for everyone in the car.

For older dads, another wise choice would be to pay for the insurance of these accessories.

According to Wynand van Vuuren, a client experience partner at King Price Insurance, statistics show that individuals aged 65 to 75 top the rankings of insuring non-standard accessories, with 20.3% of them choosing to insure these as compared to the 5.2% of those aged 18 to 25.

Other less expensive choices can be something like bonnet and headlight guards or a tonneau cover.

Your options are limitless, but please, let’s skip the socks this year!
