FRIDAY, 31 AUGUST: The Dutch Reformed Church hosts a fete at its Montclair hall at 42 Montclair Road from 4pm to 7pm. There will be lots of food stalls. Call the church office on 031-467-2392 for more information.

FRIDAY, 31 AUGUST: Woodlands Sports Club will have music by DJ Mike at the Woodlands Sports Club main bar, 65 Secker Road from 7pm until late. All members and non-members are welcome to spend an evening of fun and dancing with DJ Mike. All alcohol to be purchased from the cash bar. For enquiries contact the club on 031-462-7146.

SATURDAY, 1 SEPTEMBER: Bluff Stamp Fair hosts a meeting on the first Saturday of every month from 8am to 11.30am at the NG Kerk, corner of Lighthouse Road and Tara Road. SATURDAY, 1 SEPTEMBER: Birdlife Port Natal hosts an outing to Tanglewood with Elena Russell at 6am. Meet at the lower gate at 5.45am so that all can proceed together as the gate will be locked after that. Bring picnic tea to be enjoyed in the boathouse. SUNDAY, 2 SEPTEMBER: Every Sunday, the Visually Impaired Bowlers Association has its weekly bowling afternoon at Berea Bowling Club in Durban from 1pm to 4pm. Blind and partially sighted people who are prepared to join this association can look forward to an afternoon of fun and fellowship playing bowls.
