BRIGHTON Beach SAPS is looking for information on the identity of a man who allegedly shot and killed a man in Jacobs on Monday, 8 February.

At about 6.45am, the 57-year-old human resources manager was sitting on a chair outside the building where he worked in Manchester Road, waiting for the gates to open when he was shot in the head.

The alleged shooter was wearing a two-piece blue overalls and a white cap and was seen fleeing towards Paisley Road.

Police searched the area, but were unable to find him.

The motive for the killing is unknown, but according to Brighton Beach SAPS communications officer, Captain Louise Le Roux, it is possibly related to retrenchments at the business last year.

The police call on anyone with information on the whereabouts of the shooter to contact them. Call Warrant Officer Grobler on 073-434-4396. The identity of informants will remain anonymous.
