God’s ‘Little’ Creatures – Ant Mimic Spider
...unless you get one to sit still long enough to count its legs, you wont even know its a spider.
Today I would like to share this fascinating little creature with you:
Is it and ant? think again, count its legs. See its got eight legs, so in fact it is a spider, now before you freak out and think there is another species of spider to worry about, these are completely harmless. And unless you get one to sit still long enough to count its legs, you wont even know its a spider.
Why exactly these spiders have developed to mimic ants, I’m not sure, but most likely its to avoid becoming food for someone else. I guess if you look like an unappetizing ant, nothing will wanna eat you.
