Ridgeview FC dominate pre-season friendly

Ridgeview FC started off strong right from the kick-off and continued to push for goals throughout the match.

RIDGEVIEW FC exhibited a dominant display in a pre-season friendly clash against Masidlale FC, clinching a resounding 3–0 victory at the Ogle Road grounds in Wentworth, on March 16.

Right from the kick-off, Ridgeview FC asserted their superiority, applying relentless pressure on Masidlale FC’s defence and goalkeeper. The continuous onslaught from Ridgeview FC kept Masidlale’s defence under constant threat, with their goalkeeper forced into action early in the game.

The breakthrough moment arrived for Ridgeview in the first half as they seized the lead, setting the tempo for the remainder of the match. However, it was in the second half that Ridgeview truly stamped their authority on the game, leveraging their momentum to add two more goals and establish a comfortable margin.

Rudy Naidoo, Luke James and Sashin Chetty emerged as the scorers for Ridgeview FC, each showcasing their individual prowess and contributing to the team’s impressive performance. Their synchronised efforts on the field, combined with clinical finishing, proved insurmountable for Masidlale FC.

Despite their endeavours, Masidlale FC struggled to match Ridgeview’s intensity and failed to breach their formidable defence. The contest concluded with Ridgeview FC emerging triumphant, leaving their opponents with a significant challenge to confront and a determination to bounce back stronger ahead of the league commencement.

Tracey Williams, the manager of Ridgeview FC, expressed that the victory serves as a morale boost for the team as they gear up for the forthcoming season.
