FOOTBALLERS from the Yellowwood Park Football Club (FC) enjoyed showing off their skills as they took various teams at the Amanzimtoti FC’s five-a-side tournament, recently.
Supporters and spectators gathered to show the young soccer players their support. Grant Matthews from the Yellowwood Park FC said teams from three junior divisions entered the tournament.

“The day turned out to be a day of fun and competition for the players, who enjoyed being in the competitive field. Our Under 6 team came second in their division and we thank coach Gordon Igling for his dedication in training the young players. The Under 10 team finished top of the log and we also thank the coach, Bev Van Der Westhuizen, who’s skills and expertise contribute to the success of the team. The tournament will be a day that will linger on in the memory of all our players,” said Grant.
