THE renowned blackball pool master from Merebank is gearing up for an exceptional opportunity to represent South Africa at the esteemed World Blackball Pool championships in England this October.

Theo Moodley will be raising the South African flag high at the international event, which will be held from October 11 to 20.

“It is truly a dream come true. It is like my wildest imagination coming to reality. Achieving the call-up as South African manager for the first time in my blackball pool journey is a dream come true. I remember the days I prayed for this opportunity. Being chosen as a manager enables me to oversee my country’s bid for victory and also be a part of playing. This is personally my greatest accomplishment to date in cue sports.”
