Lady Quins’ give it their all

Attributing months of high intensity training and commitment from the women to the team’s performance, their coach, Nick Leonard, said he was still at a loss for words after the matches.

PROVING that they are force to be beckoned with, the Lady Quins, a women’s division of the Harlequins Rugby Club, displayed great skills on the field despite their 5-0 loss against Varsity College while tackling and skidding in the heavy downpour, during their match.

“I know it wasn’t a win, but it felt close to one due to the excellent skills displayed by our women. We are making headway and the efforts and practice is paying off. I am confident that we will enjoy the fruits of our hard work together soon,” added Leonard.
