When not practicing or playing, Tyrese coaches the little league (U6 team) and was selected by a recruitment agency to participate in the U23 Tournament in Brazil.

TALENTED Bluff footballer, Tyrese Bowes, will jet off to Brazil to compete in the U23 tournament, in January 2023.
The 17-year-old Grosvenor Boys High School learner is on a mission to raise funds for his trip, where he will play against teams such as Real Madrid, Santos and Sporting Lisbon.

To make his dream come true, his mom, Kim Bowes, has started several fundraising initiatives and hopes that there will be enough money in time for his trip.

“From the time he knew how to kick a ball, he was hooked on soccer. Tyrese attended Bushlands Pre-Primary School, where he attended practice and soccer matches diligently. He followed his passion in high school and plays soccer for his school as well. He also attends soccer training at clubs such as Bayview Sports Club and Fynnlands Sports Club, where he played soccer for the U17 and U19 teams,” said Kim.

When not practicing or playing, Tyrese coaches the little league (U6 team) and was selected by the major sports 365 recruitment agency to participate in the U23 Tournament in Brazil.

“Some of our fundraising initiatives include a raffle, as well as fliers, which we will distribute in the hopes of sponsors and donations. Raffle forms can be filled at Wade’s Barber in Marine Drive,” said Kim.
To donate to Tyrese’s trip, contact Kim on 065 101 6337 or 068 206 0175.
