It’s game on at Woodlands Bowling Club

A game of 16 ends was played with a tea break after eight ends. After the game, fires were lit for a bring and braai.

A FUN-FILLED fun day was held at Woodlands Bowling Club on Sunday, August 22.

What a fantastic turnout there was. A game of 16 ends was played with a tea break after eight ends. After the game, fires were lit for a bring and braai.

Overall winners on +11 were Stewart Proctor, Vanessa Wilesmith, Shane Hinton and Paul Barnard and coming in on -11 for a booby prize was Anne Bonthrone, Jonty Morris, Carol Carstens and Erica Tavares.

There was one money board with Hanno Blom grabbing the R40 and Colleen Roden snagging the R20. The winners of the three swindle sheets winning R30 each were Linda Hewer, Faye McIntosh, Mike Impson and Paul Barnard.

Erica won a little gift as a non-bowler closest to the jack for the women’s team with Wayne TeWater, also a non-bowler winning for the men.

Thank you to all the Woodlands members for supplying eats.
