Overall winners were Jason Hewer and Gavin Conlon on 4+16 and second session winners were Robbie Carr and Deon Henrico on a countdown on +2. Harold Dix won the roast chicken, rolls and fresh juice sponsored by Yellowwood Park Spar. Paula Osman won the R40 money board with Doug Porter snagging the R20.
The casual 4’s breakfast competition took place on Thursday, 2 May with Hugh Martin, Monique Wells, Lynne Brown and Nora Gilder the winners. First session winners were Chad Wilson, Brian and Grenville Warren and second session winners were Doug and Elize Porter, Joan Walter Girout and Linda Green. Bernie Goulden and Michael Schudel won the R40 money boards with Marietha de Kock and Errol Pienaar snagging R20 each. Denis Tarboton won the meat raffle and thanks go to Gwen Tait for sponsoring the bacon for the breakfast.
On Saturday, 4 May the men’s league team played a home game against Durban Bowling Club. Norman Moore, Jason Hewer, Andy Cloetee and Eric Coetzee won their game 36-9 and Harold Dix, Arnie Harper, Derek Stevens and Gavin Conlon won their game 27-13.
