Fynnlands Primary host local schools soccer tournament
Local primary school U10 and senior teams from Fynnlands, Assegai, Van Riebeeck, Bushlands and Marlborough Park Junior Primary participated in the fun and competitive tournament organised by BTT.
The Bidvest Tank Terminals (BTT) Schools Tournament took place on Thursday, 2 May at Fynnlands Senior Primary School. Local primary school U10 and senior teams from Fynnlands, Assegai, Van Riebeeck, Bushlands and Marlborough Park Junior Primary participated in the fun and competitive tournament organised by BTT. The players were also treated to a lunch which was followed by a prize-giving ceremony for the winning teams and players of the tournament.
Tournament Results:
U13 Boys
- Final: Assegai vs Fynnlands (2-2)
- Winner: Fynnlands (Penalty Shoot-out 2-0)
- Player of the Tournament: Connor Du Plooy (Fynnlands)
U13 Girls
- Final: Assegai vs Fynnlands (1-0)
- Winner: Assegai
- Player of the Tournament: Aphiwe Dladla (Fynnlands)
U10 (Foundation Phase)
- Final: Bushlands vs Marlborough Park (3-0)
- Winner: Bushlands
- Player of the Tournament: Kyle Lewis (Bushlands)
