Bluff tennis team claim runners-up spot at Topgun tourney

They competed against 15 other clubs from across the country

BRIGHTON Tennis Club congratulates its intrepid players who made it to the finals of a recent tournament which took place at Sun City.

Brighton Tennis Club represented KZN in the inaugural Growthpoint Properties Topgun national club championships.

They competed against 15 other clubs from across the country where the club’s Carl von Brandis, Natalie Grandin, Gary Comins and Karen Blaunfeldt narrowly lost in a hard-fought final to Camps Bay, ending up second out of 16 clubs.

As runners-up, the team won R10,000 for the club and also brought home six cases of Dunlop tennis balls for reaching the semi-finals.
