SATURDAY saw the men’s drawn pairs continue at Wanderers Bowling Club.

Titch and Robbie Spiller lost to Richard Hendicott 22-12, who will now face Robin Grobler and Mike Freeman in the final.

Well done to them.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Foxy, gammon – Ralph, pork roast – Chris Fourie, rump – Deon, chicken pack – Thomas Simpkins, chicken – Cave.

The R1,000 snowball was a carry over as Janet Dawson was not present. Friday’s lotto of R2,100 was won by Robin Grobler.

The joker draw was yet another carry-over as Hennie Geldenhuys failed to locate the joker. The pool is now in the region of R24,500 with only 20 odd cards to go.

The annual Jacky Bollaert tournament with turkeys among the main prizes will be hosted on 10 December, so contact Lofty Cawthorne or the scribe, if interested.

This is the same date as the monthly breakfast trips and regulars are requested to enter their normal sides (plus one more player).

Support would be appreciated as it is for a good cause.

The club’s thoughts and prayers are extended to those members on the recovery list, get well soon fellow Wanderers.
