Bluff BC teams knocked out of PN pairs
On Sunday is the Bluff any pairs sponsored by Dudley and Brian, contact Dudley if you would like to play.
IN the start of the knock-out stages of Port Natal pairs competition both Bluff Bowling Club teams unfortunately lost.
The club’s women Elize Stapelberg and Chrissie Smith lost to D de Kock from Mount Edgecombe and among the men, Spider Williams and Hilton Lassak lost to Steve van Rooyen and Richard Hendicott from Durban Wanderers.
On Saturday two competitions were played in the senior singles, where Eddie Human beat Steve Baker and in the men’s drawn pairs Chris Pozyn and Robbie Johnston beat Gary Moffat and Harvey Simpkin.
On Sunday the Diving Bell sponsored any pairs were played. First session went to Noel Morel and Sheldon Wicks, second session went to June Foster and Dudley Dorrofield and overall prize went they way of Jorge Santos and Deon Els. The board was won by Chris Pozyn and the chicken raffles by Lilah Nel and Michael Schudel.
There are a number of competitions posted for Saturday so members should check the board.
