THERE has been little activity at Woodlands Bowling Club in the last few weeks, due to the playing of the Dan Draper bowls tournament.

On Saturday, the men’s singles final took place between Andy Cloete and Eric Coetzee.

It was a tight, neck-and-neck game which played well over 21 ends but in the end Andy beat Eric. Congratulations to Andy Cloete on being Woodlands’ singles champion.

The semi finals game of mixed pairs was also played between Norman Moore and Linda Hewer against Tom Cloete and Lynn Carlyle. In what was also a close game, Tom and Lynn emerged victorious. Well done.

On Sunday 23 July is the shirts and skirts. To enter a team, contact Rina Harper.
