WEDNESDAY’S Lynne Wild pairs saw Eric Smit and Lofty claim first session at Wanderers Bowling Club, while second session went the way of Brian and Joyce Smith.

Overall winners were Kurt and Dawn Spack on a 4+15.

The 60/40 board was won by Ronnie Jackson (R40) and Eric Smit (R20), and the lotto has now reached a whopping R1,113 carryover.

The meat raffle was won by Andy Cloete.

The men’s interclub league continued on Saturday with all three sides playing away. The first side lost at Lahee Park 1-6. The second side lost to league leaders Hillcrest 0-7 and the third side lost away to La Domaine 2-5.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Jeff Bolt, beef – bowls, pork roast – Lofty, rump – bowls, chicken pack – Barbara Geddie, chicken – Thomas Simpkins. The R900 snowball was won by ever-present Terry Brown.

The Friday Lotto was a carry over of R140. Pat, Richard, Anthony and Terrance delegated the chance to locate the joker to Robin, but he pulled the wrong card on their behalf, and also failed to double the R50 consolation prize on offer. The pool is now in the region of R10,000.

The annual Dan Draper tournament takes place this year for the 69th time from Monday to Friday, 3 to 7 July. Clive Symons, Dianne Swann or the scribe can be contacted for any further information.

Thoughts and prayers are extended to those members on the recovery list, get well soon fellow Wanderers.
