Quins AC lauds its Comrades runners

Time trials are held every Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, starting at Bluff National Golf Club in Club Drive.

CONGRATULATIONS to Harlequins and Bluff runners who competed in the Comrades Ultra Marathon on Sunday, 4 June.

Harlequins Athletics Club had only two runners competing this year.

Andre Hendriks completed the Comrades in a time of 11.54 in Quins’ colours, while Bill Hogg sadly had to withdraw at Botha’s Hill due to illness. Better luck next time Bill, and well done to Andre.

Due to the darker evenings in winter, all runners are urged to wear light clothing and/or reflective belts while out on the roads.

There are a limited number of 2017 licences still available. Contact Judy Conlin on 083-603-2877 to purchase a licence. The club welcomes the support.

Time trials are held every Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, starting at Bluff National Golf Club in Club Drive. All are welcome.

Runners are asked to note that the scribe will not be present on Wednesday, 14 June, so no times will be recorded.
