Chris, Shannon win pool challenge
THERE were two rounds of pool played on Saturday at Woodlands Sports Club.
The first winner was Peter Jenkins and the second round was won by Mossie.
Chris Lelong and Shannon Theron then challenged the winners to a final play-off and they came out as the top winners.
They say they play better as a pair than alone. A fun day was had by all.
The snowball was won by L Venter who was unfortunately not there to claim the prize so it is a carry over to this Friday.
Meat draw went as follows:
- First Wayne Parkins,
- second Aubrey Ingle,
- third Lyndon Smith.
The weekly lotto was won by Trevor Hubbard.
Collin made a lovely lunch which was enjoyed by all, well worth the R60 per plate. Collin will be in the kitchen on the following days:
- Thursday from 10am to 2pm,
- Friday from 10am until late and then on
- Saturday from 10am until late.

The club’s condolences go to the family and friends of Richard Olmsdahl on his death.
