Hikers set to conquer Mustang Mountain

On Sunday, 26 March hikers will explore Mustang Mountain in Hammarsdale.

DURBAN Ramblers Hiking Club members will hike in New Germany Nature Reserve on Saturday, 25 March.

Call hike leader Abdullah on 084-478-6779.

The hike is along woodlands and grasslands.

A R20 donation will go towards the upkeep of the reserve. Hikers are welcome to braai afterwards in the braai area just outside the reserve so take your own meat, drinks and chairs. Meet at 1.45pm at the New Germany Nature Reserve (off Mountain Ridge Road). This 8km hike is graded one easy/moderate.

On Sunday, 26 March hikers will explore Mustang Mountain in Hammarsdale.

Call hike leader Jenny Rooks on 084-952-0622. This is a walk from Bartlett Estates to Hammarsdale. Meet at 7.30am at Union Main Centre at 45 Old Main Road, Pinetown. Petrol sharing costs R30.

This 15km hike is graded three.
