Catch annual Ronnie van Rooyen memorial rugby action this Saturday

Take your youngsters down while you enjoy the refreshments and food on sale.

THIS coming weekend the prestigious annual Ronnie van Rooyen Memorial Day takes place on Saturday, 4 March at Harlequins.

It is again wonderfully supported by the local rugby clubs and every rugby supporter will be treated to some entertaining rugby.

A big drawcard this year is the entertainment provided for the younger generation when the much-loved mascot Sharky, who will strut his stuff between 11am and 2pm. Take your youngsters down while you enjoy the refreshments and food on sale.

The following clubs will showcase their talents in preparation for their upcoming league campaigns: Harlequins 1st and 2nd, Collegians U20, Rovers U20, VC U20, Jags U20, Crusaders U20, Collegians U20B, Collegians 1st and 2nd, Crusaders 1st and 2nd, UKZN PMB 1st, Jaguars 1st, Hillcrest 1st and 2nd, Queensburgh and visitors from Centurion.

 

Fixtures and kick-off times:

10am: Centurion XV vs Kwantu Spears (A field) and Jaguars U20A vs Crusaders U20A (B field).

11.30am: Collegians 2nd vs Crusaders 2nd (A field) and Collegians U20 B vs VC U20 (B field).

1pm: Rocomamas kicking competition.

1.10pm: Collegians 1st vs Crusaders (A field) and 1st Collegians U20A vs Rovers U20A (B field).

2.40pm: Harlequins 2nd vs Queensburgh 2nd (A field) and Hillcrest 2nd vs Rovers 3rd (B field).

4.10pm: Harlequins 1st vs UKZN Pmb 1st (A field) and Hillcrest 1st vs Jaguars 1st (B field).
