Unfortunately Richard lost his first game on Sunday and Terrance won one but lost the next, finishing in the top eight.

Well done to them both.

Bob Hayward however proceeded to the top four by winning his three games on Saturday and his two games on Sunday in the men’s senior singles. The club wishes him all the best in the finals.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were: Lamb pack – Thomas Simpkins, beef – Hennie Geldenhuys,

pork roast – Brian Craig, rump – Themba, chicken pack – Cave James, chicken – Jeff Bolt.

The snowball sitting on R1,900 was another carry-over as Fred de Vry’s name was drawn but he was not present.

The Friday lotto was also another carry-over with R1,120 in the pool as numbers 1-2-8 were not taken.

The joker draw reached a carry-over of R15,035 as Trish Overington could not locate the joker.

Bowls members are reminded that subs are overdue, and the men bowlers are also urged to tick their names on the board should they want to be considered for league.
