There was an air of excitement as the Woodlands men played the final of the 2017 men’s fours on Saturday afternoon. Norman Moore, Tommy Cloete, Andy Cloete and Neville Horner walked away with the spoils when they beat Harold Dix, Bill Hewer, Eric Coetzee and Jason Hewer 19-9.

The women played the first round of the points singles. What a close contested game between Rina Harper and Linda Hewer. There was great anticipation who would reach the 100 score first with Rina lying the winning bowls and with one bowl to be played by Linda. Linda drew the winning bowl, winning 101 to 99. Well playedto both of them.
