In a count out, first prize went Dennis’ way and Mike was awarded second place. The weekly sportsmen’s award went the way of Coy Schauwen, Robbie Carr and Butch Ellis. The eagerly anticipated meat raffles were drawn after the bowls prizegiving. This week it was a happy Tom Cloete who took home the pork roast and the club’s men’s competition secretary, Ken Koch, who walked away with the beef. Errol Pienaar was on a winning streak when he won first prize on both 60/40 boards. Second prizes on the boards went the way of Friday stalwarts, John Somerville and Graham Bransby.
