Bluff BC supports inter district women’s fundraiser evening
On Sunday the Acutts sponsored any pairs will be played in the morning and in the afternoon, the last competition for the year will be the mixed drawn pairs final with Jorge Santos and Ronel Morel playing Eddie Human and Paula Osman.
ON Friday evening, 20 Bluff Bowling Club members made their way to Parkhill Bowling Club for a fundraiser in aid of the women’s inter district side in which three Bluff members are represented.
It was a fun evening with the Dee Jays putting on the show.
On Saturday, three mixed competitions were played. June Foster, Chris Pozyn and Rodger Scott beat Elize Stapelberg, Sarie Bisset and Harvey Simpkin and then unfortunately lost their next game to Eddie Human, Noel Morel and Patricia Buys. In the other game Spider Williams, Ronel Morel and Dawn Spack beat Robert Mhlongo, Kurt Spack and Jay Retief.
On Friday the men’s 3-2-1 killer competition sponsored by June Foster and Eddie Human will be played and on Saturday, there are two mixed finals to be played. In the trips Eddie Human plays Spider Williams and in the nominated pairs, Robert Mhlongo and Glynis Mackrory play Clinton and Sarie Bisset.

Members are reminded that the annual prize giving is on Saturday, 12 December and the AGM on Sunday, 13 December.
